This mod centers on Mario.EXE, a darker iteration of Mario that emerged from a popular artwork on DeviantArt. Throughout the game, players will also encounter various other horror-inspired Mario characters
The narrative starts with the protagonist and their partner receiving a mysterious package that holds an NES cartridge. Once they start the game, they inadvertently release a demon that pulls them into the television. The player finds themselves in a void and is confronted by Mario.EXE, coming to the shocking realization that they are not the only ones trapped in this peculiar realm. The goal of the game is to traverse different levels while dodging Mario.EXE and other horrifying Mario figures in search of an escape from this dreadful experience
