There is a new system for online interactions, a shiny Pokémon rate that is much higher than usual, special areas like Mirage Island, and the ability to find all forms of Deoxys. The bonus for experience points when using Lucky Egg tools to check individual values and the option to buy items that increase move usage are also available. It’s all written in English so let’s dive into this adventure!
The Galaxy Emerald latest edition is out and has been updated based on feedback from players. Do you hate new Hacks that overload the game with features that make it stray from its roots? Galaxy Emerald brings a variety of exciting features designed to enhance your gaming experience. The shiny rate has been increased to 255 making it easier to collect those elusive shiny pokmons. The Players benefit from an optional separation between Physical moves and Special moves and they can access all 386 pokmons without needing trades. Pokémon that used to have to trade for evolution can now evolve using a Link Stone. TMs are also available and there are Move Tutors placed throughout The map for added assistance. Evolution Stones are Most commonly found at Lilycove Mart and some in game trades have been modified for variety. Items held by pokmon now behave like Evolution Stones providing new options for players. The first three generations of berries are now available to collect. Plus a Kanto Fossil Restoration Center in Mossdeep has been added where players can restore fossils like Aerodactyl Kabuto and Omanyte that appear at level 25. These features combine to create a refreshing gaming experience with many options.
The furniture shop was moved to The roof of Lilycove Mart allowing shoppers to browse and buy items at any time not just on Saturdays. PP UP is also added to Lilycove Mart and an EV-IV Viewer can be accessed in the menu under options. Some wild pokmon have seen improvements making them easier to find and adjustments to the movesets of various Gym Leaders have been made to the move. The Rival and Bosses from the Magma and Aqua teams have been updated. The Sturdy Ability allows for survival at one hit point, and The Rough Skin Ability has been adjusted to deal 1/16 of health in damage.
Now CAPT STERN is prepared to give both his SCALES the deepsea and deepfang types instead of just one. You can find these also available for sale at the Slateport Market from the old treasure hunter. For BATTLE FRONTIER POINTS which you can use for MOVE TUTORS certain ITEMS and DOLLS has been lowered to 10 BP for ease of access although a select few KANTO DOLLS are still available at approximately 100 BP. The Rival will feature a complete starter evolution featuring the Kanto starters alongside the Hoenn starters which will be the ones you didn’t choose. Moreover Johto starters can be accessed once you have completed the Hoenn dexter.
The game has some exciting new features. Players will encounter familiar characters like RED and LEAF from the previous versions of FireRed and LeafGreen. The bosses and admins of MAGMA and ACQUA will use stronger healing items like Hyper Potions and Full Restores In the final battles instead of the less effective Super Potions. Once you have reached the Elite Four you will be able to access MIRAGE ISLAND which will give you the chance to collect various RARE Berries. Furthermore a new item called PRISMSCALE was introduced which allows players to evolve Feebas into Milotic. Naturally you can still evolve Feebas through its beauty if you prefer. Feebas are now more common and can be caught using either a Good Rod or a Super Rod.
The teams of Team Magma and Team Aqua draw inspiration from trading card game characters such as Sealeo Rhyhorn and Camerupt among others. Players can also access the four Deoxys versions in the game and have the option to switch between these different forms whenever they wish.
New trades in the game have been introduced. You can swap the Togepi for a Snorlax that comes with a Lucky Egg. You can trade a Volbeat for a Farfetch’d In Fortree City. If you go to the Town of Paciflog you can swap a Bagon for a Porygon. Additionally a Feebas can be traded at the Battle Frontier for a laprasa.
